HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PHYSICS DEPARTMENT

The Department offers Physics for the Intermediate and the Degree courses.

The syllabus for the Intermediate level is prescribed by the A.P.Board of Intermediate education.

The department consists of experienced faculty members. It has separate well equipped laboratories (Optics, Electronics and General) for Intermediate and Undergraduate courses.

Undergraduate Course :

1. Special papers on Electronics, Quantum Mechanics & Spectroscopy, Electricity & Magnetism and Nuclear Physics are part of the curriculum which are unique as they are not included in the common core scheme of Andhra University.
   
   
2. An Instructional Manual for experiments in Electronics has been developed by the department.
   
   
3. The Department offers guest lectures, field visits and seminars for Degree students.
