HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT

The Department offers Mathematics as an optional subject for the Intermediate Course in combination with Physics & Chemistry as well as in combination with Economics & Commerce.

The syllabus for the Intermediate level is prescribed by the A.P.Board of Intermediate education.

The Department offers Mathematics as an optional Core subject for the Degree Course in combination with Physics & Chemistry, Economics & Computer Science and Physics & Computer Science.

To enhance the research abilities and group work, the department has introduced Project Work for all the students in Semester V.

The Department also offers Mathematics at Postgraduate level. The syllabus for the Postgraduate level is prescribed by the Andhra University.

The Department offers Basic Mathematics as a General Elective to make students more comfortable and effective in handling Mathematics for Competitive Examinations.

Undergraduate Course :

Matrices, Uniform Convergence Statistics, Euclidean Rings and Real Quadratic forms are the unique features not included in the common core syllabus of Andhra University
