HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT

The Department offers Chemistry for the Intermediate and Degree courses.

The syllabi for the Intermediate level is prescribed by the A. P. Board of Intermediate education.

Undergraduate Course :

1. Continuous assessment is done for every experiment in Practicals.
   
   
2. Instrumental analysis (VI Semester Practical ) is introduced at the U.G. level for the first time in A.P.
   
   
3. The department collaborates with Botany and Zoology departments for managing the Foundation course in ‘Environmental Studies’ which is compulsory for all students during III/ IV semesters.
   
   
4. A one semester course in ‘Household Chemistry’ “Science for better living’ ‘Chemistry for everyday life’ are offered to non-Chemistry students as General Elective during the IV semester.
